What filters does the PureT EZ Slim use?
Five stages: E3IL-12WS5GR 5 micron sediment, E3IL-12WCLBL GAC carbon, E3IL-12WCBNVY 5 micron carbon block, a standard 1812 RO membrane and an IL-10W-C-EZ inline GAC post-filter. The EZ-SLIM-SET5 has all five.
What is the difference between EZ-SLIM-SET5, SET4 and SET3?
SET5 is all five stages with a 50 GPD membrane. SET4 is the three pre-filters plus the inline post-filter, no membrane. SET3 is for a pre-filter change only. Most owners use SET4 at each 6 to 12 month change and SET5 when the membrane is due.
I have the 75 GPD E3RO575-EZ. Which membrane do I need?
Use the TFCK-1812-75. The pre-filters and inline post-filter are the same as the 50 GPD model.
Will standard 10 inch filters fit the EZ Slim?
No. The EZ Slim uses its own slim 12" cartridges. Standard 10" or Big Blue cartridges will not fit. Call (714) 541-6600 if you are not sure what you have.
