Sediment Water Filters

Sediment filters are the first line of defense — they capture sand, silt, rust and scale particles that would otherwise clog carbon, foul membranes and wear valves. We stock spun, melt-blown and pleated sediment cartridges from Watts, PureT, Valuetrex and Pentek, plus compatibles for popular systems, in every common size and micron.

How to choose a sediment filter

Match the micron. 1–5 micron polishes fine particulate and protects RO; 20–50 micron handles heavy sediment at higher flow — often staged coarse-to-fine.
Depth vs. pleated. Spun/melt-blown depth filters hold more dirt for the money; pleated filters add surface area and can be rinsed and reused.
Size to the housing. Standard 10"/20" x 2.5" and Big Blue 4.5" — match your housing length and diameter.
Change on pressure drop. Rising pressure or falling flow means the sediment filter is loaded — replace it to protect everything downstream.

Tell us your housing and sediment level and we'll match the filter. Start here.
