UV Lamps, Quartz Sleeves & Ballasts
A UV system disinfects water without chemicals — but only while the lamp is putting out germicidal output, which fades before the lamp visibly fails. We carry replacement UV lamps, quartz sleeves and ballasts for Viqua, Sun Pure, Pura, Microfilter and more, so your system keeps delivering a real disinfection dose.
How to choose UV parts
Replace the lamp yearly. UV lamps lose germicidal output over ~9,000 hours (about a year) even if they still glow — annual replacement is essential.
Match lamp to system. Lamps are keyed by model, wattage and pin configuration (2-pin/4-pin) — match your unit exactly.
Don't forget the sleeve. The quartz sleeve isolates the lamp from water; a scaled or cracked sleeve cripples disinfection — clean or replace it.
Ballast matters. A failed ballast/controller stops the lamp — match voltage and model when replacing.
