Amtrol Pressure Boosting Systems
Amtrol RP-HP Series
Engineered Pressure Boosting for Consistent Flow
Pre-packaged residential pressure systems that elevate supply pressure from 10 psig minimum to household standards across single and multi-family applications.
The Amtrol High Performance Pressuriser is designed for water applications where supply pressure exists but falls below comfortable household standards. These systems integrate pump, tank, and controls into a single footprint, eliminating the complexity of component-by-component specification and installation.
System Architecture
What's Integrated in Every Unit
Stainless Steel Pump Housing
Corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel construction rated for continuous duty cycles in potable water applications. Handles the mineral content and temperature range of residential water supplies without degradation.
Factory-Matched Pressure Tank
Integrated expansion tank pre-charged to optimal pressure for minimal pump cycling and extended motor life. Sized specifically for each model's flow rate to maintain consistent pressure between pump cycles.
Electronic Controls
Integrated pressure switch and control logic maintain set point pressure with automatic start/stop functionality. Built-in thermal overload protection and dry-run protection safeguard the motor against damage.
Model Selection
Amtrol RP-HP Specifications

Installation Process
Three-Step Setup
Connect Supply and Discharge
The RP-HP series ships pre-assembled — connect your incoming supply line to the pump inlet and run the discharge to your home's distribution system. All connections use standard NPT fittings. Install isolation valves on both sides for future serviceability.
Wire to Power Supply
Connect to a dedicated 115V or 230V circuit depending on the model. The control panel is pre-wired — supply power to the panel terminals per the wiring diagram included. A licensed electrician should handle final connection if local code requires it.
Commission and Verify
Open supply slowly to fill the system, bleed air from the highest fixture, then power on. Verify the pump starts and stops at the correct pressure set points using a gauge at the discharge. Adjust the pressure switch if needed to match your household requirements.
Sizing note: Select your model based on peak simultaneous demand, not average use. A three-bathroom home with a washing machine running concurrently needs the RP-HP-25. When in doubt, size up — a system running below its rated flow is quieter, lasts longer, and cycles less frequently than an undersized unit struggling to keep up.
Pre-Packaged System
Pump, tank, and controls ship as a single unit — no separate component specification, no compatibility guesswork, and no assembly required on site.
Stainless Construction
304 stainless steel pump housing handles continuous duty in potable water without corrosion, providing a long service life even in demanding water chemistry conditions.
Automatic Operation
Pressure-activated controls start and stop the pump automatically. No manual intervention needed — the system maintains your set pressure point on demand around the clock.
Built-In Protection
Thermal overload and dry-run protection prevent motor damage from common field conditions. The system shuts down safely rather than burning out if supply water is interrupted.
