Mixed-Bed DI Resin for Deionized & High-Purity Water
Mixed-bed deionization resin blends cation and anion resin to strip virtually all dissolved ions, producing high-purity, near-zero-TDS water for labs, spot-free rinsing, aquariums and RO polishing. We stock nuclear-grade and color-changing mixed-bed resins from ResinTech, Purolite, Thermax and CarbonChem in pound bags up to full cubic-foot quantities.
How to choose DI resin
Color-changing vs. standard. Color-changing resin fades as it exhausts so you can see when to swap it — ideal for DI tanks you don't want to test constantly.
Nuclear/semiconductor grade. For the highest purity (18 megohm polishing) choose a nuclear-grade mixed bed like MBD-30.
Match volume to your tank. Pound bags suit small cartridges; 1 CF (44 lb) bags fill standard DI tanks.
It's a polisher. DI resin lasts far longer downstream of RO — pairing the two dramatically cuts resin cost.
