Types of Fittings We Provide
Jaco Compression Fittings
Perfectly suited for applications requiring tight, leakage-free connections, Jaco compression fittings are ideal for a variety of water filtration systems. Available in Kynar and Nylon materials with ferrule nuts and integral sleeves, these fittings deliver reliable performance without the need for threading or soldering.
Quick Connect Check Valves
Hydronamic quick connect check valves prevent backflow and maintain system pressure with one-way flow control. Available in straight connectors and fixed elbow configurations, these check valves feature 1/4 inch tube connections with 1/8 inch NPT male threads for secure integration into reverse osmosis and filtration systems.
Ferrule Nuts and Connectors
Precision-machined ferrule nuts in 3/8 inch and 1/2 inch OD sizes provide the essential compression element for creating permanent, leak-proof connections. Used in conjunction with male connector fittings, these components form a complete compression system that adapts to various tubing materials and operating pressures.
Installation Process
How to Install Compression Fittings
Prepare the Tubing
Cut the tubing with a clean, square edge using a proper tubing cutter. Remove any burrs or rough edges from the cut end, and ensure the tubing is clean and dry. Measure the insertion depth required for your specific fitting to ensure proper seating and connection integrity.
Assemble the Components
Slide the ferrule nut onto the tubing first, followed by the ferrule or integral sleeve. Insert the tubing into the fitting body until it reaches the internal stop, ensuring full insertion. The ferrule should be positioned properly between the nut and the fitting body.
Tighten and Test
Hand-tighten the ferrule nut onto the fitting body, then use a wrench to turn an additional one and one-quarter turns for proper compression. Avoid over-tightening, which can damage the ferrule or tubing. Pressurize the system and inspect for leaks before putting the connection into service.
Expert Tip: Always use fittings made from materials compatible with your water chemistry and system pressure requirements. Kynar fittings offer superior chemical resistance for aggressive water conditions, while Nylon fittings provide excellent performance for standard residential applications at a lower cost.
Leak-Proof Performance
Engineered compression seals and precision-manufactured check valves ensure zero-leak connections that maintain system integrity throughout years of continuous operation, protecting your property from water damage.
Universal Compatibility
Our fittings work seamlessly with industry-standard tubing sizes and thread specifications, making them compatible with virtually all major water filtration system brands and configurations.
Fast Installation
Compression-style design eliminates the need for specialized tools, soldering, or threading equipment. Most connections can be completed in minutes with just basic hand tools and proper technique.
Premium Materials
Constructed from NSF-certified Kynar and Nylon materials that resist corrosion, chemical degradation, and temperature extremes while maintaining safe contact with drinking water.
