LiquaGen 5-Stage RO filter FAQ
What filters does the LiquaGen 5-stage RO use?
LiquaGen's replacement kit has a 5 micron sediment filter, a GAC carbon filter, a 5 micron carbon block, a 100 GPD membrane and an inline carbon post-filter. The pre-filters are standard 10" size.
Can I use a 75 GPD membrane instead of 100 GPD?
Yes, it is the same 1812 size and fits the housing. You will just make less water per day. LiquaGen sells kits with 50, 75, 100 and 150 GPD membranes.
How often should I change the filters?
Change the sediment and carbon filters every 6 to 12 months, sooner on well water. Change the inline post-filter about once a year. The membrane usually lasts 2 to 3 years.
My post-filter has push-in ends. Which one do I buy?
If your inline has screw-in elbows, use the ¼" NPT version and move your elbows over. If the tubing pushes straight into the filter, use the ¼" quick-connect version. Call (714) 541-6600 if unsure.
