Geekpure RO5 filter FAQ
What filters does the Geekpure RO5 use?
Stage 1 is a PP sediment filter, stage 2 is granular carbon and stage 3 is a carbon block. All three are 10" × 2.5". Stage 4 is a 75 GPD membrane and stage 5 is an inline post carbon filter.
Does the Geekpure booster pump model use the same filters?
Yes. Geekpure sells its 75 GPD 5-stage system with and without a booster pump. The filter layout and the 75 GPD membrane are the same. The pump itself is not a filter.
What is the difference between the RO5 and RO6?
The RO6 adds a sixth alkaline stage after the post-filter. Stages 1 to 5 are the same. See the
Geekpure RO6 filter page.
How often should I change the filters?
Change the sediment and carbon filters every 6 to 12 months, sooner on well water. Change the post-filter about once a year. The membrane usually lasts 2 to 3 years.
