What filters does the Culligan AC-30 AquaCleer use?
Four stages: a 5 micron sediment pre-filter (CAC-SED-5), a 12" carbon block (CAC-CB-5, replaces Culligan 32-175-050-100), a 36 GPD RO membrane and a 6" × 2" inline GAC post-filter with 3/8" quick-connects. The AC-30 filter set with membrane has all four in one box.
Do the AC-30 and AC-15 take the same filters?
Yes. The AquaCleer AC-30 and AC-15 use the same sediment pre-filter, carbon block, 36 GPD membrane and 3/8" inline post-filter, so the same set fits both.
How often should I change AquaCleer filters?
Change the sediment, carbon block and inline post-filter every 6 to 12 months. Never leave them in longer than 12 months. The membrane usually lasts about 2 to 3 years. Change sooner if flow drops or the taste changes.
Is the AquaCleer post-filter 1/4" or 3/8"?
The AC-30 and AC-15 post-filter uses 3/8" quick-connect fittings, like the genuine Culligan 01014613. Our IL-6W-C-EZ38 is the 6" × 2" 3/8" quick-connect version.
Will H-52 or AC-50 filters fit my AC-30?
