Aqua Flo QCRO filter FAQ
What filters does the Aqua Flo QCRO Platinum use?
Four quick-change cartridges: a 5 micron sediment filter (41407001), a carbon block (41407002), the RO membrane (41407003 for 50 GPD or 41407008 for 75 GPD) and a second 41407002 carbon block as the final polish. The complete 50 GPD kit has all four.
How do I know if I have the 50 GPD or 75 GPD QCRO?
Read the label on the membrane cartridge (stage 3). 41407003 is the 50 GPD membrane and 41407008 is the 75 GPD membrane. The sediment and carbon cartridges are the same on both.
Does the QCUF ultrafiltration model use the same filters?
Yes for the sediment and carbon stages (41407001 and 41407002). The QCUF uses a 41407005 hollow-fiber UF membrane in place of the RO membrane. Get the QCUF complete kit.
How often should I change the QCRO filters?
Change the sediment and carbon cartridges every 6 to 12 months and the membrane every 2 to 3 years. Our 6-month pre-filter kit and 41407011 annual kit make this easy.
Will these fit the older Aqua Flo 1240 Platinum?
No. The 1240 Platinum uses standard housings, not quick-change heads. We sell a 33001033 50 GPD membrane with filters set for it. Not sure which you have? Call (714) 541-6600.
