APEC ROES-50 filter FAQ
What filters does the APEC ROES-50 use?
Five stages: a 5 micron sediment filter, two 10 micron carbon blocks (all three are standard 10" size), a 50 GPD RO membrane and an inline coconut carbon post-filter.
Will standard 10" filters fit the APEC Essence?
Yes. The Essence pre-filters are the standard 10" size used by most under-sink RO systems, so our 10" × 2.5" sediment and carbon blocks fit the same housings.
How often should I change the filters on an APEC ROES-50?
Change the sediment and carbon filters every 6 to 12 months and the inline post-filter about once a year. The membrane usually lasts 2 to 3 years.
What is the difference between the ROES-50 and the ROES-PH75?
The ROES-PH75 adds a sixth calcite stage that raises pH and uses a 75 GPD membrane. See the APEC ROES-PH75 page for its filters.
