What filters does the Watts WP-4V use?
Per the Watts WP-4V manual: a 10" 5 micron sediment filter (104017), a 10" 5 micron carbon block (101009, white end caps), an RO membrane (110016, 35 GPD, or the 110019 50 GPD upgrade) and a VOC carbon block post-filter (101013, blue end caps).
Does the WP-4V have an inline post-filter?
No. The stage 4 VOC carbon block is a drop-in cartridge that goes in the third filter bowl, not an inline filter. Use a 10" × 2.5" carbon block there.
How often should I change the WP-4V filters?
Watts says to change the sediment and carbon block every 6 months, the VOC block every 12 months, and the membrane every 2 to 5 years. Hard or dirty water can shorten that.
Which membrane do I need?
The WP-4V manual lists a standard 35 GPD membrane (110016) with a 50 GPD upgrade (110019). If your old membrane is a yellow-wrap Watts 560014 with a built-in check valve, replace it with the same type. Call (714) 541-6600 if you are not sure.
