The Watts WPC Series 20" x 2.5" pleated sediment filter uses 100% synthetic polypropylene media to deliver higher flow rates and lower pressure drop than wound or spun cartridges. Available in 1, 5, 20, and 50 micron ratings, these cellulose-free filters offer washable, reusable performance for well and whole-house applications.

INSTALLATION & USE
Installing Your Watts WPC Filter
- Turn off water supply and relieve pressure from the housing by pressing the red pressure release button
- Unscrew housing using a filter wrench, remove old cartridge, and clean housing sump with mild soap and water
- Insert new Watts WPC filter into housing, ensuring proper seating against the center tube
- Lubricate o-ring with silicone grease, hand-tighten housing back onto cap, and slowly turn water back on
- Check for leaks and run water for 3-5 minutes to flush the new filter media

The Watts WPC Series fits all standard 20" x 2.5" filter housings including Watts, Pentek, GE, Culligan, and Omnifilter brands. Direct replacement for Watts Flow Max models FM-20-0.35, FM-20-1, FM-20-5, FM-20-10, FM-20-20, and FM-20-50. Model numbers: WPC1-20 (1 micron), WPC5-20 (5 micron), WPC20-20 (20 micron), WPC50-20 (50 micron).
🔧 Pro tip: Filters rated 5 micron and higher can be removed, rinsed under running water, and reinstalled to extend their service life. Rinse when pressure drop reaches 15 psid to maximize dirt holding capacity between replacements.
