COMPATIBILITY

System Compatibility

The Watts SF-10-425 fits standard 10-inch filter housings with 4.5-inch diameter capacity from Watts, Pentek, Culligan, and other major brands. This string wound cartridge works as a sediment pre-filter for reverse osmosis systems, whole house applications, or under-counter drinking water setups. Available in multiple micron ratings to match your specific filtration needs, from fine 1-micron sediment removal to coarser 50-micron protection for well water or heavy particulate loads.

🔧 Pro Tip: String wound filters work best in gradient filtration setups. If you're dealing with heavy sediment, install a coarser 50-micron cartridge first, then follow with a 20 or 1-micron stage to extend filter life and reduce replacement frequency.
