INSTALLATION & USE
How to Use the S7595P Wrench
- Turn off water supply to the filter housing and relieve system pressure by pressing the red pressure release button on top of the housing
- Position the wrench around the filter housing sump, ensuring full contact with the housing body
- Turn counterclockwise to loosen and remove the sump for filter replacement, or clockwise to tighten after installing a new sediment or carbon filter cartridge
- Hand-tighten the sump first, then use the wrench to snug the housing closed without over-torquing
COMPATIBILITY
Works With Watts 20-Inch Full Flow Systems
This wrench is designed specifically for Watts 20-inch Full Flow filter housings. It fits standard whole-house filter systems that use oversized housings for high-flow sediment and carbon filtration applications. Not compatible with standard 2.5-inch diameter slim-line housings or 10-inch models.
🔧 Pro tip: Lightly lubricate the housing o-ring with food-grade silicone grease before reassembly. This prevents the sump from seizing to the cap and makes future filter changes easier without requiring excessive force with the wrench.
