INSTALLATION & USE
How to Load Your Custom Media
- Unscrew the top cap of the empty cartridge and set the included 50-micron foam pad aside
- Fill the cartridge body with your chosen media—calcite, catalytic carbon, KDF, phosphate, or any custom blend your water requires
- Place the foam pad on top of the media to prevent channeling and keep the media bed stable during operation
- Thread the top cap back on securely, then install the loaded cartridge into your 20-inch Big Blue housing

🔧 Pro tip: Leave about half an inch of headspace at the top when filling with media. This prevents over-compression and allows the foam pad to sit properly, which improves flow rate and prevents media from escaping into your water line.
