INSTALLATION & USE

Mounting the PG15L25 Pressure Gauge

  1. Apply thread sealant tape to the 1/4 inch NPT male threads in a clockwise direction, wrapping 3 to 4 times without covering the first two threads.
  2. Thread the gauge into the side-mount port on your filtration system manifold or pressure vessel, turning clockwise until hand-tight.
  3. Use a wrench on the hex flats to tighten an additional 1 to 1.5 turns, ensuring the gauge face is oriented for easy reading.
  4. Pressurize the system slowly and verify the gauge responds smoothly without needle flutter or leakage at the connection point.
