The acid-washing process enhances taste by removing impurities from the carbon media, making it especially effective for improving municipal water flavor. Compatible with most major brands of 10-inch filter housings including those from Watts, Pentek, and other standard manufacturers.
💧 Replace the MAXT-975 every 6–12 months or when you notice a decline in water taste, even if you haven't reached the 10,000-gallon capacity. Chlorine and organic contaminants can saturate carbon media before flow rate drops significantly.
