INSTALLATION & USE
Replacing Your GAC Cartridge
- Shut off water supply and relieve pressure by opening the faucet. Remove the filter housing using a filter wrench.
- Remove the old cartridge and clean the housing interior with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly to remove any residual carbon fines.
- Insert the Watts GAC20NRW cartridge, ensuring proper seating in the housing. Check the o-ring for damage and apply food-grade silicone if needed.
- Hand-tighten the housing and restore water pressure slowly. Run water for 3-5 minutes to flush carbon fines and activate the media.
