COMPATIBILITY

Tubing and Pipe Compatibility

The Watts AquaLock union elbow works with copper (CTS), CPVC, PEX, LDPE, MDPE, HDPE, and polypropylene tubing. Match the tubing outside diameter (OD) to the appropriate AquaLock fitting size: 3/8" OD for 1/4" CTS, 1/2" OD for 3/8" CTS, 5/8" OD for 1/2" CTS, 7/8" OD for 3/4" CTS, and 1-1/8" OD for 1" CTS. This fitting is ideal for reverse osmosis systems, water filtration installations, refrigerator lines, ice maker connections, and general plumbing retrofits where fast, reliable connections are required without soldering, crimping, or threading.

🔧 Pro tip: Always use a proper tubing cutter rather than a knife or scissors. Jagged or angled cuts can prevent the O-ring from sealing properly and may allow the tubing to pull free under pressure.
