INSTALLATION & USE
Filter Replacement Procedure
- Shut off water supply to the RO system and relieve system pressure by opening the dispensing faucet
- Rotate each old cartridge 1/4 turn counterclockwise to release from the manifold (internal valves automatically shut off water flow)
- Remove protective caps from new cartridges and align with manifold housings in proper order: sediment (WQCSC13), carbon block (WQCCC13), GAC (WQCGAC13)
- Push each new cartridge firmly into position and turn 1/4 turn clockwise until it locks into place
- Restore water supply and check all connections for leaks before returning system to normal operation
COMPATIBILITY
System Requirements
This Watts annual replacement kit is designed specifically for 13-inch Kwik-Change reverse osmosis systems rated at 100 gallons per day. The kit includes three pre-filtration cartridges but does not include the RO membrane element. Compatible with Watts WQC4RO systems and other manufacturers' 13-inch systems using the Kwik-Change quick-connect manifold design. Verify your current cartridge model numbers before ordering to ensure proper fit.
🔧 Pro Tip: Write the installation date on each cartridge with a permanent marker before installing. The double o-ring seals eliminate the need for lubricant, but if you experience resistance during installation, a small amount of food-grade silicone grease on the outer o-ring can ease insertion without compromising the seal.
