Compact three-chamber diaphragm pump for high-pressure, low-flow delivery — water boost systems, misters, sprayers, and post-tank RO delivery, at low amp draw.
The Shurflo 8000 Series is built for jobs that need pressure more than volume — boosting a line, driving a mister, or delivering from an RO tank at pressures a standard demand pump can't reach. Every model here is self-priming to 8 vertical feet, can be mounted in any position, and will run dry without damage. Choose by pressure first, then by voltage and port type.

Flow figures are open flow. Output drops as pressure rises — that is normal for a diaphragm pump and it is steeper on the high-pressure models. The 1.5 GPM / 100 PSI unit still delivers about 0.9 GPM at 100 PSI, while the 1.2 GPM / 50 PSI unit is near shut-off by 50 PSI. If you need flow and pressure together, call us before ordering.
Two Different Control Behaviours
Demand Switch
A pressure switch stops the motor at the set pressure and restarts it when you open a tap. Best where the pump sits idle between draws and you want zero standby power.
Internal Bypass
Recirculates internally once bypass pressure is reached, so the pump keeps running without damage against a closed outlet. Best for misting lines and frequent short draws where switch cycling would be excessive.
Self-Priming, Dry-Run Safe
Primes up to 8 vertical feet and is undamaged by running dry — important on tank-fed installations that can empty mid-cycle.
Three-Chamber Diaphragm
Positive displacement three-chamber head with Santoprene diaphragm and spherical valves. Compact enough to mount in any orientation.
Low Amp Draw
The 115 VAC models draw well under 1 amp across their range, so they suit installations with limited electrical headroom.

All models on this page are NSF-listed for potable water. Corded models are UL-listed; non-corded models are UL-recognized.
Which Models Ship With a Cord
Only the two 8025-213 models are supplied with a power cord fitted. Every 8005 model on this page is non-corded and requires field wiring to the appropriate supply. The 12 VDC and 230 VAC models require a customer-supplied power source.
Check the port thread before you order. Most models use 3/8" NPT female ports. The 8005-733-155 is the exception — it uses 1/2" NPT male ports and needs Shurflo swivel fittings rather than a direct thread-in.
Where This Pump Belongs
Water boost systems, misting and fogging lines, spray equipment, carbonator and beverage boost, post-tank reverse osmosis delivery, and general low-flow high-pressure transfer. Where a 2088 Series pump moves volume at modest pressure, the 8000 Series does the opposite — less flow, considerably more head.
