COMPATIBILITY
Compatible Filter Housing Series
This gasket is factory-specified for Shelco 4FOS and 5FOS single-cartridge housings, as well as BFC and BFS bag filter housings that use clamp-ring closures. Viton is recommended over standard Buna-N when working with chlorinated solvents, hot water above 180°F, concentrated acids, or any process fluid that causes swelling or degradation in nitrile seals. Always verify gasket material compatibility with your specific chemical application before installation.
