INSTALLATION & USE
Faucet Spout Replacement
- Turn off water supply and relieve pressure by opening the faucet valve
- Unscrew existing spout counterclockwise and inspect o-ring seating surfaces for wear or mineral deposits
- Lubricate replacement o-rings with food-grade silicone grease and thread new QMP spout clockwise until hand-tight
- Restore water supply and check for leaks at base connection during initial flow
COMPATIBILITY
System Integration
QMP spouts are designed for universal compatibility with most dedicated water filtration faucets using standard threading. The QMP521 model features 1/8" NPT threading for compact installations, while models QMP511X and QMP527 provide extended reach for deep sinks or vessel-mount applications. All models include replacement o-rings for reliable sealing with standard faucet bodies from QMP and compatible manufacturers.
🔧 Choose spout reach based on sink depth and glass clearance, not just aesthetics. The QMP527 9" model and QMP511X extra-long reach prevent splashing in commercial-depth sinks, while the QMP521 3.25" works best for bar sinks and tight countertop spaces.
