COMPATIBILITY
NPT Sizing Reference
National Pipe Thread (NPT) sizing does not correspond to ruler measurements. A 1/4" NPT fitting measures 0.540 inches in actual diameter, not 0.25 inches. Reference guide: 1/8" NPT = 0.405" actual, 1/4" NPT = 0.540" actual, 3/8" NPT = 0.675" actual, 1/2" NPT = 0.840" actual. The CB-MPC6 is compatible with standard CB6 series filter housings and systems requiring coconut shell carbon block filtration.
🔧 Pro tip: Always measure NPT fittings with calipers rather than relying on fractional names. The actual diameter will be significantly larger than the NPT designation, which prevents costly ordering mistakes when matching filters to housings.
