Whole-System PFAS Reduction · Model NWS-PFAS-8

Reduce PFAS to non-detect levels.

A commercial-grade ion exchange system engineered to remove a broad spectrum of PFAS compounds from your water supply. Built around ResinTech SIR-110-HP resin, the NWS-PFAS-8 delivers reliable reduction below current EPA criteria — at flow rates up to 8 gallons per minute.

8 GPM Flow Capacity
2 ft³ SIR-110-HP Resin
12×48" Mineral Tank

Built to order for your application

Each NWS-PFAS-8 is assembled specifically for your order. Typical processing time is 3–5 business days before the system ships.

PFAS — per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances — are a class of synthetic chemicals that resist breaking down in the environment and have been detected in water supplies across the country. The NWS-PFAS-8 is purpose-built to address them.

At its core is ResinTech SIR-110-HP, an ion exchange resin specifically designed to capture a wide spectrum of PFAS compounds and reduce concentrations to non-detect levels. Compared to granular activated carbon, the high removal capacity and superior kinetics of SIR-110-HP mean fewer media changeouts, lower waste volume, and a smaller equipment footprint for the same job.

The system handles applications requiring 8 gallons per minute or less. Need more throughput? Capacity scales by adding systems in parallel — so a single platform grows with your facility.

What are PFAS, and why do they matter?

Often called "forever chemicals," PFAS are used in countless industrial and consumer products and do not readily degrade in nature. Because they persist and accumulate, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has established criteria limiting certain PFAS in drinking water. The NWS-PFAS-8 is designed to bring treated water below those criteria.

Built for performance and lower lifetime cost

Broad-Spectrum Reduction

SIR-110-HP resin targets a wide range of PFAS compounds, reducing concentrations to non-detect levels and below the EPA's drinking water criteria.

Fewer Changeouts

Superior removal capacity and kinetics mean the resin lasts longer between exchanges than carbon — less downtime, less media, less hauling.

Smaller Footprint

Higher capacity per cubic foot of media keeps the equipment compact — a single 12" × 48" vessel handles point-of-entry duty for many homes.

Scales in Parallel

Need more than 8 GPM? Add systems side by side to multiply throughput without redesigning around a different platform.

Less Waste

Because the resin works more efficiently than carbon, the system generates lower spent-media waste volumes over its service life.

Complete & Ready to Install

Ships as a full assembly — tank, resin, control head, bypass valve, and internal components — built to order for your application.

Ion exchange, simplified

PFAS molecules carry a negative charge. The SIR-110-HP resin is engineered to attract and hold them as water passes through the vessel.

1

Water Enters

PFAS-contaminated water flows into the 12" × 48" vessel through the In-and-Out control head.

2

Resin Captures PFAS

As water passes through the SIR-110-HP bed, the resin binds PFAS compounds through ion exchange.

3

Treated Water Out

Water leaves the vessel with PFAS reduced to non-detect levels, below EPA criteria.

Lead / lag, for confidence and continuity

For optimal performance, we recommend installing two vessels in a lead/lag arrangement. It's the configuration trusted in professional PFAS treatment — and it's straightforward to deploy.

Vessel 1

The Lead

The first vessel does the primary work, capturing the bulk of the PFAS load as water passes through. It is monitored and changed out first as the resin approaches capacity.

Vessel 2

The Lag

The second vessel acts as a polishing and safety stage. It ensures continuous protection even as the lead vessel nears the end of its service life — so treated water quality never lapses.

What ships with each system

Every NWS-PFAS-8 is built to order as a complete, install-ready assembly.

Black 12" × 48" Mineral Tank

Durable composite pressure vessel sized for point-of-entry whole-system service.

2 Cubic Feet of ResinTech SIR-110-HP

The PFAS-selective ion exchange media at the heart of the system.

In-and-Out Head with Bypass Valve

Control head for inlet/outlet flow, plus an integrated bypass for service and maintenance.

Before you specify the system

What PFAS levels can this system reduce?
The NWS-PFAS-8 uses ResinTech SIR-110-HP resin, designed to remove a wide spectrum of PFAS compounds and reduce concentrations to non-detect levels — below the criteria established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Actual results depend on your incoming water chemistry, so a current water analysis is strongly recommended before sizing.
Why ion exchange resin instead of carbon?
Granular activated carbon can reduce PFAS, but the SIR-110-HP resin offers higher removal capacity and superior kinetics. In practice that means fewer media exchanges, lower spent-media waste volumes, and a smaller equipment footprint for the same treatment job.
What if I need more than 8 GPM?
The system is rated for applications at 8 GPM or less. To serve higher flow demands, multiple NWS-PFAS-8 units can be installed in parallel — total capacity scales with the number of systems, without changing platforms. Contact us to discuss multi-unit sizing for your facility.
Why do you recommend a lead/lag setup?
A lead/lag configuration runs two vessels in series. The lead vessel handles the primary PFAS load; the lag vessel acts as a polishing and safety stage. This ensures treated water quality is maintained continuously, even as the lead resin approaches the end of its service life and is scheduled for changeout.
How long does it take to receive?
Each NWS-PFAS-8 is built to order. Typical processing time is 3 to 5 business days before the system ships. If you have a project timeline, contact us and we'll confirm current lead times.
Can you help me size the right system?
Yes. PFAS treatment should be specified against a current water test and your actual flow demand. Reach out to our team with your water analysis and application details, and we can help confirm whether the NWS-PFAS-8 — single or in a lead/lag pair — is the right fit.
Performance & Compatibility Notice The NWS-PFAS-8 is manufactured by IPW Industries Inc. PFAS reduction performance depends on incoming water chemistry, flow rate, contaminant concentrations, and proper installation and maintenance; a current water analysis is recommended before specifying the system.
