#241 EPDM O-Ring for Dura-Series Housings

The Dura-Series seals radially — the O-ring sits on the side of the sump rather than on top — so Pentair specifies this EPDM ring (R51120) for it. It is the same #241 dash size as the Buna-N 151120 used on legacy standard housings. Keep one on hand and replace it whenever you see nicks, flattening or weeping at the cap.

Lubricate before installing. Coat the entire ring with silicone grease (never petroleum) before seating it in the groove — a dry EPDM ring can roll or pinch and weep at the cap.
