COMPATIBILITY

Q-Series Head Requirements

The Omnipure Q5421 is a replacement cartridge for existing Q-Series filter heads. You must have a compatible Omnipure Q-Series head installed with 1/4" Quick-Connect fittings, 1/4" female NPT threads, or 3/8" female NPT threads. This filter fits all 8" Q-Series housings including Q54xx models. The Twist Tap feature requires a Q-Series head with the corresponding valve receptacle.

MAINTENANCE

Replacement Schedule

Every 1500 Gallons

Capacity-Based Replacement

Replace the Q5421 carbon block cartridge when 1500 gallons have been filtered, or when you notice a decrease in flow rate or return of chlorine taste and odor.

Every 12 Months

Time-Based Replacement
