The Omnipure K5621 inline filter fits a wide range of residential and commercial applications including reverse osmosis systems (as pre-filter or post-filter), under-sink drinking water systems, refrigerator and ice maker connections, beverage dispensing equipment, drinking fountains, and inline point-of-use filtration. The 1/4" FQC quick connect fitting allows tool-free installation in most modern plumbing setups, while the 1/4" FPT option provides compatibility with threaded connections. Note that NPT fittings measure larger than their nominal size—1/4" NPT actually measures approximately 0.540" in diameter at the threads, not 0.25".
