The Omnipure K5620-BB is a compact carbon block inline filter designed for chlorine reduction, taste and odor improvement, and sediment removal down to 1 micron. With 1/4" female NPT fittings on both ends, it installs easily as a post-RO polishing stage, in beverage equipment, refrigerators, ice makers, drinking fountains, or as part of any under-counter filtration setup.

Where the K5620-BB Fits

This inline filter works in any setup that uses 1/4" NPT threaded connections. It's commonly installed as the final polishing stage after reverse osmosis membranes, in residential ice makers and refrigerators with water lines, commercial beverage dispensers, drinking fountains, and under-sink filtration assemblies. The 1/4" female NPT fittings thread directly onto male 1/4" NPT adapters or nipples. Note that NPT thread diameter measures approximately 0.540" on a ruler, not 0.25" as the fractional name suggests. Replace the K5620-BB every 3000 gallons or annually, whichever comes first, to maintain optimal chlorine reduction and taste improvement.
