The Omnipure K5528 is a 10" x 2.5" inline filter designed primarily as a post-membrane polishing filter in reverse osmosis systems, though it works equally well in refrigerators, ice makers, beverage equipment, and under-counter applications. Packed with granular activated coconut carbon, it removes residual chlorine taste and odor that can persist even after RO treatment.

COMPATIBILITY
Where This Filter Works
The K5528 installs in any system that accepts 10" x 2.5" inline filters with 1/4" fittings. Common applications include reverse osmosis systems as the final polishing stage, under-counter drinking water filters, refrigerator and ice maker supply lines, beverage dispensers, and drinking fountains. Note that 1/4" NPT fittings measure approximately 0.540" in actual diameter when checked with a ruler, not 0.250" as the fractional name suggests.
