Where This Filter Works
The K2567 is designed for inline installation in refrigerators, ice makers, beverage equipment, drinking fountains, under-counter filtration systems, and as a post-filter in reverse osmosis systems. The 1/4" FQC fittings connect directly to standard quick-connect tubing without tools. The combination of GAC and KDF-55 makes this filter particularly effective in applications where both chlorine removal and heavy metal reduction are needed, or where bacterial and algae control is a priority. The KDF-55 media also helps extend carbon life by preventing bacterial growth within the filter housing.
💧 Note that 1/4" NPT (National Pipe Thread) measures approximately 0.540" in actual diameter when measured with a ruler, not 0.25". The Omnipure K2567 uses 1/4" FQC (Female Quick Connect) fittings, which are push-to-connect and do not require threading or Teflon tape.
