INSTALLATION & USE
Replacing the ELF T40 Cartridge
- Shut off water supply and relieve system pressure by opening downstream faucet
- Twist the existing cartridge body counterclockwise and pull down to release from the permanent bayonet head
- Align the new ELF T40 body with the head, push up firmly, and twist clockwise until it locks into place
- Turn water supply back on and check for leaks at the bayonet connection before returning system to service

The Omnipure ELF T40 is designed for commercial food service equipment including beverage dispensers, ice machines, coffee brewers, and combi ovens. The bayonet-style mount requires an Omnipure ELF-Series permanent head (sold separately for new installations). This filter is ideal for applications requiring high flow rates and effective chlorine taste and odor reduction in municipal water systems.
🔧 When installing a new ELF cartridge, listen for the audible click as the bayonet lugs engage fully. If you don't hear it, the seal may not be complete and could leak under pressure.
