INSTALLATION & USE
Resin Replacement Process
- Shut off water supply and depressurize the softener tank. Disconnect inlet and outlet lines, then remove the control valve assembly from the tank.
- Remove old resin by inverting the tank or using a wet vacuum. Rinse the tank interior thoroughly to remove any remaining beads or sediment.
- Slowly pour the new resin into the tank, ensuring the distributor tube remains centered and protected. Add water to cover the resin bed before reinstalling the control valve.
- Reconnect plumbing and run a complete regeneration cycle before returning the system to service. Check for leaks at all connections.
