This 20" x 4.5" Big Blue combo set pairs a CTO carbon block filter with a sediment cartridge to deliver whole-house chlorine reduction and sediment removal in one package. Both cartridges are rated at 5 micron and built to fit all standard 20-inch Big Blue housings from major brands.

INSTALLATION & USE
Filter Replacement Steps
- Shut off water supply to the filter housing and relieve system pressure by opening a downstream faucet.
- Use a filter wrench to unscrew the Big Blue housing sump, remove old cartridges, and clean the housing interior and o-ring.
- Install the sediment filter first (stage 1) and the carbon block filter second (stage 2) if using a dual-housing system, or use individually in separate housings.
- Reassemble housings, turn water back on slowly, and check for leaks before returning system to full pressure.
- Flush each new cartridge for 3–5 minutes to remove any carbon fines or manufacturing residue before normal use.

The carbon block replaces Matrikx 32-450-20-Green, iSpring FC25B and F2WGB22B, Pentek CBC-20BB, and Filtrex FXB20CL2. The sediment cartridge replaces Pentek EP-20BB, EPM-20BB, P5-20BB, and Hydronix CB-45-2005 models.
