INSTALLATION & USE
Filter Replacement Procedure
- Shut off water supply and depressurize the system by opening the dispensing valve until water flow stops completely
- Remove old filter housings in sequence, discard used filters, and clean housings with mild soap and water before installing new filters
- Install the new sediment filter (3038333), both carbon filters (4000569), and reverse osmosis membrane (255526-43) into their respective housings
- Flush the system for 10 minutes to remove carbon fines and prepare the membrane, then check all connections for leaks before returning to normal operation
COMPATIBILITY
Compatible Systems
This filter set is engineered for the GE Merlin 750 GPD reverse osmosis system. It is also compatible with Hydrologic systems using the same filter configuration. Confirm your system uses part number 1255052 or contains the individual filter part numbers listed above before ordering. Not compatible with residential under-sink RO systems or lower-capacity GE models.
🔧 Pro Tip: Mark your calendar when you install this filter set. High-capacity systems like the GE Merlin benefit from consistent annual filter changes, even if water quality seems fine. Membrane life depends on pre-filter performance, and carbon exhaustion isn't visible until taste or odor issues appear.
