Getting Set Up
- Mount the 2815 onto your 14–36" mineral tank (4"–8 UN base) over the 1.9" distributor tube, making sure the riser is cut flush, chamfered, and centered so it seats cleanly.
- Install the drain line flow control washer and retainer sized to your tank diameter (the DLFC housing is included) — this sets the backwash rate that lifts and cleans the resin bed.
- Connect the 1-1/2" inlet and outlet plumbing, the 1-1/2" drain line, and the 1/2" brine line to the 1720 brine system.
- Connect the 24V DC U.S. power supply and program the NXT2: set time of day, hardness, and cycle times, and add a meter later if you want on-demand regeneration.
