Fleck

Fleck 2815 NXT2 Stainless Steel Downflow Softener Control Valve, 1-1/2" — #5 Injector, 1720 Brine (281515-013)

Product Code 281515-013 (NC)

$2,902.48

The Fleck 2815 with NXT2 control is a premium, high-flow commercial softener valve built on a 316-grade stainless steel body — engineered for demanding, high-temperature, and corrosive-duty applications that plastic and even brass valves can't handle. It flows up to 70 GPM continuous (90 GPM peak) and pairs with Fleck's most advanced NXT2 electronic controller: a scrolling OLED display, capacitive-touch programming, real-time diagnostics, and valve networking. Configured as a downflow softener with hot-water-capable EPDM seals rated to 150°F, it ships with a U.S. 24VDC power supply, hardwater bypass, #5 injector, 1720 brine valve, 2.0 GPM brine flow control, black cover with clear window, communication cable, and a parts kit with manual. The drain line flow control housing is included — just add the flow washer and retainer sized to your tank.

WHAT SETS IT APART

Stainless Steel Meets Smart Control

316 Stainless Steel Body

A 316-grade stainless body resists corrosion and handles high pressure and temperature — the choice for industrial, high-purity, and aggressive-water duty where plastic and brass fall short.

Hot-Water Capable

EPDM/EPDM seals rated to 150°F make this one of the few Fleck valves suited to hot-water softening — laundries, food service, and boiler-feed pretreatment.

NXT2 Smart Control

A scrolling OLED display, capacitive-touch buttons, and seven-language support make programming and status checks fast and clear, even in low light.

High-Flow 70 GPM

Up to 70 GPM continuous and 90 GPM peak (Cv 18) through 1-1/2" ports handle large commercial and light-industrial soft-water demand.

Networkable Valves

The included communication cable links 2–8 NXT2 valves over CAT5 for twin, triplex, or larger alternating and parallel systems.

Diagnostics & Aux Relay

Live flow, peak-flow, and totalizer data plus 13 weeks of history and an error log, with an AUX drive micro switch to trigger feeders, alarms, or interlocks.

INSTALLATION & USE

Getting Set Up

  1. Mount the 2815 onto your 14–36" mineral tank (4"–8 UN base) over the 1.9" distributor tube, making sure the riser is cut flush, chamfered, and centered so it seats cleanly.
  2. Install the drain line flow control washer and retainer sized to your tank diameter (the DLFC housing is included) — this sets the backwash rate that lifts and cleans the resin bed.
  3. Connect the 1-1/2" inlet and outlet plumbing, the 1-1/2" drain line, and the 1/2" brine line to the 1720 brine system.
  4. Connect the 24V DC U.S. power supply and program the NXT2: set time of day, hardness, and cycle times, and add a meter later if you want on-demand regeneration.
COMPATIBILITY & APPLICATIONS

Where the 2815 Fits

The stainless-steel 2815 is built for the toughest softening jobs — high-demand commercial and light-industrial systems, hot-water and elevated-temperature service up to 150°F, and aggressive or high-purity water where a corrosion-resistant body is essential. It pairs with softener tanks from 14" to 36" in diameter, moves up to 70 GPM, and the included communication cable lets you network 2–8 valves for twin, triplex, or larger alternating setups. This unit ships with the DLFC housing but Less the flow washer and retainer, so add the correctly sized washer for your tank's backwash rate, and confirm your incoming supply falls within the valve's 20–125 psi range before installation.

💧Pro Tip: The 316 stainless body and EPDM seals make this one of the few Fleck softener valves rated for hot water up to 150°F — ideal for laundries, commercial kitchens, and boiler-feed pretreatment. Just remember it ships with the DLFC housing but without the flow washer and retainer, so order the washer sized to your tank's backwash rate to complete the drain setup.
