2510 SXT AIO Timer Control Valve
Air Injection Oxidation Cycle
Air Pocket Formation
During backwash, the valve draws ambient air into the top of the filter tank, creating a pressurized air reservoir above the media bed that persists through service cycles.
Contact Oxidation
Incoming well water flows down through the air pocket, where dissolved iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulfide are oxidized on contact and converted to insoluble precipitates.
Media Capture
Oxidized particles are trapped by the catalytic filter media bed — typically Birm, Filox-R, Pro-OX, or greensand — as water passes through to the outlet.
Timed Regeneration
At the programmed time, the 2510 SXT initiates a backwash cycle — flushing accumulated oxidized solids to drain and replenishing the air pocket for the next service period.

Media, Tanks & Installation
The Fleck 2510 SXT AIO mounts on standard 2.5" NPSM threaded filter tanks and accepts a 1.05" OD distributor tube. Compatible with Birm, Filox-R, Pro-OX, greensand, and catalytic carbon media — select media based on incoming iron, manganese, and sulfur levels. Recommended tank sizes range from 9"×48" to 12"×52" depending on household flow demand and contaminant concentration. The system requires minimum 20 PSI inlet pressure, a drain line for backwash discharge, and standard 120V AC power. This model does not include a day-of-week LCD display (DLFC); programming is based on 12-day timer clock intervals. Professional installation is recommended for proper media bed depth, backwash flow rate verification, and timer programming.
