COMPATIBILITY

Compatible Systems and Housings

This filter is designed as a compatible replacement for the CMB-510-HF and fits the Viqua IHS12-D4 water disinfection system. It works with any standard 10 x 4.5-inch whole house filter housing. The melt-blown polypropylene construction provides effective sediment filtration upstream of UV systems, protecting the quartz sleeve and maximizing UV transmission for proper disinfection.

🔧 Pro Tip: Pre-filtration with a 5 micron sediment filter is essential for UV systems like the IHS12-D4. Sediment buildup on the quartz sleeve reduces UV effectiveness and can allow bacteria to pass through untreated. Replace these filters every 3-4 months or sooner if you notice pressure drop or cloudy water.
