INSTALLATION & USE
Installing the D1288 Fitting
- Verify the 2.5-8 port on your Clack valve is clean and free of debris or old fittings
- Apply PVC solvent cement to the 1" x 3/4" elbow outlet according to manufacturer directions for solvent welding
- Press the 2.5-8 end firmly into the valve port until fully seated, then connect your PVC drain or brine line to the cemented elbow
- Allow solvent cement to cure fully before pressurizing the system, typically 15 minutes for handling and 2 hours for pressure
