What filters does the Watts WQCFU-T-11 use?
Three 11" quarter-turn Kwik-Change cartridges: WQCSC11 sediment, WQCCC11 carbon block and WQCHFC11 hollow-fiber UF membrane. The 3-pack has one of each.
How often should I change them?
Watts schedules the sediment and carbon block every 6 months and the UF membrane every 12 months. That is why the one-year WQCFU-5PK has two sediment, two carbon and one membrane.
Will Watts Premier UF-3 (105321) filters fit my Kwik-Change UF?
No. The Premier Filter-Pure UF-3 uses 105311, 105371 and 105321 cartridges that are keyed differently. See our Watts Premier UF-3 page for those.
I have the 13" Kwik-Change UF. What fits?
The 13" version (WQCFU-T-13) takes 13" cartridges, not these 11" ones. We stock the WQCSC13 sediment, WQCCC13 carbon block and WQCHFC13 membrane. Call (714) 541-6600 and we will confirm the match.
Does ultrafiltration waste water like RO?
No. A hollow-fiber UF membrane has no drain line, and it keeps the minerals in your water. It does not remove dissolved solids or fluoride the way an RO membrane does.
