INSTALLATION & USE
Replacing Your Carbon Block Filter
- Turn off water supply and relieve system pressure by opening a faucet downstream of the filter housing
- Unscrew the filter housing using a wrench, remove the old carbon block cartridge, and clean the housing with mild soap and water
- Inspect the O-ring for wear and lubricate with food-grade silicone grease before installing the new PureT CBC Series filter
- Hand-tighten the housing until snug, turn water supply back on, and check for leaks
- Flush the new carbon block filter for 5 minutes to remove any residual carbon fines before normal use

The PureT CBC Series 10" x 2.5" filter fits any standard 10-inch filter housing with 2.5-inch diameter capacity. Compatible with most Reverse Osmosis systems as a pre-filter or post-filter stage, and suitable for whole-house filtration when multiple housings are used.
