The QS17 quartz sleeve protects the UV lamp from direct water contact while transmitting maximum UV-C at 254 nm. Fits the Polaris Scientific UVA-4C. Replace whenever the sleeve becomes cloudy, scaled, etched, or cracked, and inspect it at every lamp change.
