The Omnipure K5605 is a 12" x 2.5" sediment inline filter with 5 micron polypropylene depth filtration, designed to remove dirt, sand, and particulate matter from water supplies. Available with 1/4" quick connect fittings (FQC, FPT, and 90° elbow), this K-Series filter installs easily into RO systems, under-counter setups, refrigerators, ice makers, and beverage equipment.

Where the K5605 Works Best
The Omnipure K5605 inline sediment filter is designed for use in reverse osmosis systems as a pre-filter stage, under-counter drinking water systems, refrigerator water lines, ice makers, beverage dispensers, and drinking fountains. The 1/4" quick connect fittings make installation and replacement straightforward without the need for tools or specialized plumbing knowledge. This filter is compatible with whole-house and point-of-use applications where sediment removal is required before carbon filtration or membrane stages. The polypropylene construction is NSF-compliant and safe for potable water contact.
💧 Note on NPT sizing: A 1/4" NPT fitting does not measure 1/4" on a ruler. It actually measures approximately 0.540" in outer diameter. This is standard across all NPT fittings and is not a manufacturing error. Measure your existing connections before ordering, or simply match the fitting style (FQC, FPT, etc.) to your current setup.
