Filter Housing O-Rings & Gaskets
The O-ring is the cheapest part in a filter system and the one that causes the most leaks. We stock genuine and compatible O-rings and gaskets for the housings people actually run — Big Blue, Slim Line, RO membrane housings, Omnipure heads and more — in Buna-N and other materials, singly and in multi-packs.
How to choose an O-ring
Match by housing model. O-rings are sized to a specific housing (Pentek 151122 / 151121 for Big Blue, for example) — buy by the part or housing number.
Material matters. Buna-N handles most water duty; EPDM or Viton suit ozone, hot water or aggressive chemistry.
Change it every service. Replace the O-ring at each cartridge change and lubricate with silicone to seal reliably.
Buy the multi-pack. O-rings are cheap in bulk — a spare pack on the shelf prevents an emergency.
