This dual stage 4.5" x 10" Big Blue system combines a 20 micron pleated sediment filter with a GAC/KDF chlorine and heavy metal reduction cartridge in a high-flow housing built for well water, farms, restaurants, and light commercial installations. The 1" inlet/outlet ports maintain pressure in demanding applications while the bacteria-resistant pleated media and granular activated carbon handle sediment loads and odor issues common in well water.
Two-stage protection for well and city water
Stage 1: Pleated Sediment
20 micron polyester pleated filter captures dirt, sand, silt, rust, and scale particles. Bacteria and chemical resistant media is washable for extended service life.
Stage 2: Carbon + KDF
Granular activated carbon with KDF media reduces chlorine up to 99%, controls heavy metals including iron, and eliminates taste, odor, and VOCs.
