The H2O International US3 inline system combines 80% granular activated carbon with 20% patented KDF media in a sealed unit designed for long-term chlorine and heavy metal reduction. Bacteriostatic media prevents internal biological growth, while the included lead-free long reach faucet delivers filtered water directly at your sink for up to 25,000 gallons before replacement.
Five-Stage Filtration Process
Pre-Filtration
Initial stage captures suspended particles and sediment to protect downstream media from fouling and extend system life.
Granular Activated Carbon
High-volume carbon bed adsorbs chlorine, organic compounds, and taste/odor contaminants through extended contact time with 80% media by volume.
Heavy Metal Reduction
Patented KDF media targets heavy metals including lead, mercury, and copper through redox reactions while inhibiting bacterial growth in the filter housing.
Biological Control
Specialized media prevents colonization by bacteria, algae, and fungi within the sealed unit to maintain water quality during the filter's service life.
Final Filtration
Terminal carbon stage removes residual contaminants and polishes water before delivery through the lead-free long reach faucet.

The H2O-US3-I installs under most kitchen sinks with standard cold water supply lines. System includes quick-connect fittings, faucet adaptor, ball valve, and all necessary tubing for direct connection. Recommended flow rate is 1 GPM at standard residential water pressure. Unit measures 16.5" high by 4" diameter and requires clearance for vertical installation. The inline configuration can also be adapted to connect directly to an existing sink faucet without drilling for a dedicated tap. Compatible with municipal water supplies treated with chlorine or chloramine.
