Ideal for municipal water supplies using chloramines for disinfection, well water with hydrogen sulfide odor issues, and any application requiring superior chloramine reduction without the limitations of impregnated carbons. Use as a direct replacement for standard activated carbon in systems treating chloraminated water or H2S levels up to 30 ppm. 💧 Catalytic carbon's ability to be regenerated with backwashing makes it more economical for high H2S loads than traditional activated carbon, which would require frequent replacement. For chloramine removal, catalytic carbon provides significantly longer service life than conventional GAC.
