INSTALLATION & USE
How to Store Your Electrode
- Remove the protective cap from your pH or ORP electrode
- Add several drops of HI70300 storage solution into the electrode cap
- Replace the cap onto the electrode, ensuring the glass bulb and junction remain submerged in solution
- Store the electrode upright between uses to prevent solution evaporation
- Replenish storage solution as needed to keep the electrode continuously moist
COMPATIBILITY
Works With
The Hanna HI70300-M storage solution is compatible with all Hanna pH and ORP electrodes, including portable and benchtop meter probes. It can also be used with most third-party electrodes that require proper hydration for storage. If storage solution is unavailable, pH 7.01 buffer solution may be used as an alternative, though dedicated storage solution is recommended for optimal electrode longevity and response time.
🔧 Never store electrodes dry or in distilled water—both will damage the reference junction and cause slow, drifting readings. Keep a small dropper bottle of HI70300 in your testing kit for field electrode maintenance.
