Recommended Applications
The Rusco 1" Sediment Trapper with Flush Valve installs on well water systems, irrigation lines, booster pump inlets, and point-of-entry whole-house applications where sediment, sand, or silt is present. Use polyester screens (24–1000 micron) for most residential and light commercial jobs, or specify stainless steel elements for high-temperature water, corrosive conditions, or industrial settings where screen durability matters. Select mesh size based on sediment type: coarser screens (30–60 micron) for sand and heavy grit, finer screens (100–250 micron) for silt and rust particles. Install upstream of pressure tanks, water heaters, filtration equipment, and irrigation valves to protect downstream components from sediment damage.
